In this space we have tried to make two different temporalities cohabit in the same scenario: the old and the new. Through pre-existing elements in the building, such as the ceiling, it is contrasted with the modern elements added later, but we have also achieved the reconciliation of the elements through the light, the composition through the furniture and the rest of the decoration.
Regarding the choice of materials, we have tried to give it a cozy feel: warm colors, natural woods to achieve a homey and intimate feeling.
The central element of the kitchen, delimits it from the hall but also has a dual function: it organizes the appliances and kitchenware and on the opposite side, it includes a library arranged with an organic character, spacious and bright.
To distinguish the unique personality of each style, the structures spanning the hallway stop short of the ceiling. However, the use of indirect lighting creates harmony and continuity, resulting in a space that is elegant, subtle, and simultaneously inviting.

Spaciousness and use of the home
The owners of this house located in the center of Valencia had it clear: spaciousness and use of space were key in this remodeling with a personal character, very much their own. As we can see, the open distribution visually connects the different spaces, generating a feeling of spaciousness and fluidity. A detail: central bookcase, besides being a decorative element, fulfills a practical function by visually separating the hall from the kitchen, and also offers ample storage space, making the most of the heights.

This house is a clear example of how a reform can transform a space and optimize the entry of natural light. Thanks to its large windows and the choice of light tones on the walls, a bright and welcoming atmosphere has been achieved. The herringbone parquet flooring, moldings and natural textiles add warmth and elegance, creating a home full of charm.

The moldings on the ceiling and walls add a classic and sophisticated touch and are characteristic elements of home renovations with charm, which is precisely what we were looking for in the result. In addition to the detail in the structure, we went further with the content! Creating the perfect harmony with the overall aesthetics of the house, we chose furniture with simple lines and natural materials. In the bathrooms, the protagonists are the large ceramic tiles in light tones, the non-slip ceramic floor and the suspended toilets, creating a modern space… and easy to maintain!
