The color and type of flooring is an important decision to keep the home clean. We all tend to opt for our favourites for our home, but do we really know if they are the best option? It doesn’t just depend on the type of flooring you want to lay or the colour, one of the most important aspects for choosing flooring is the location of where it is located, that is, where we are going to lay it. You can’t lay the same flooring in the kitchen, as in the living room or bathroom. For each space there are a series of them that are recommended or, on the contrary, that are not. Within all the types that exist, there are a few options that are much easier to clean than others, it is not the same to place a laminate floor in the kitchen as in the living room, its use is different. Luckily, this variety is very large and that’s why we are going to discover it together. <\/p>\n

What type of soil is the cleanest?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As we have said before, the choice of land will depend on the type of home you have (a house on the beach is not the same as in the city centre), the room where you are going to place it (bathroom, living room, kitchen…) or even your situation (if you have children, animals, you live alone). One of the vitally important aspects that a floor must have is its cleaning and maintenance. <\/p>\n

1- Laminate flooring<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is a material that can imitate wood, it is more economical, durable and resistant. It is one of the floors that cleans best, you do not need to continuously review its maintenance. It is not necessary to remove the pavement that we already had, it can be placed on top. If you want to place this in high-traffic areas such as the bathroom and kitchen, you should place a laminate type that is much more resistant and that adapts to these complicated areas. <\/p>\n

2-  Ceramic, stoneware or porcelain floors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is one of the expensive but highest quality options. This type of flooring is the easiest to clean, lasts a long time and has very little maintenance. They are very impermeable floors, so they are the great candidate for spaces such as the bathroom or kitchen, recommended for hot rooms. It doesn’t matter what type of liquid and how much falls on it, it won’t get damaged. The only downside of this type is that you have to avoid as many joints as possible, it tends to accumulate a lot of dirt in them. <\/p>\n

3- Wooden floors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is very popular for homes looking for modernity. It is one of the favorite floors because it combines with all styles. In the short term, there is no need for major maintenance. It is an easy floor to clean in terms of spillage, dust, etc. On the other hand, in the long term you do have to carry out much greater maintenance. Dirt and scratches with the passage of time accumulate. It is a floor that has many disadvantages in terms of cleanliness. <\/p>\n

4- Concrete or microcement floor<\/h3>\n

If you are looking for a trendy floor, it should be very resistant and with enormous durability. You’ve found it! When we talk about this type of flooring, we immediately imagine a gray floor. But no, nowadays with the technologies we have, it has grown in quantity, designs, colors… It has no joints where dirt accumulates, therefore it is a floor that is very easy to clean. With just soap and water you have it ready and shining. Of course, you should be careful with abrasive products and unsuitable utensils. <\/p>\n

Which color is the cleanest?<\/h2>\n

One of the aspects that we all think is true is that the darkest colors are the ones that look the cleanest. But this is not the case, dirt and dust stand out much more in dark colors than in light ones. On the other hand, stains stand out much more in light colors. You must be clear that neither black nor white is a viable option. Choose neutral colors such as gray, beige… Of course, think about the joints too, if they are a gray or black color, a dark color, it will make them easier to clean over time. <\/p>\n
