In the middle of a heat wave and when temperatures begin to rise, terraces regain their prominence and become one of the most important rooms in the house.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having a balcony or terrace at this time of year is truly a luxury that you have to know how to take advantage<\/strong> of.<\/span><\/p>\n

If a few years ago these spaces were decorated with the first thing you had at hand, now everything is taken care of in detail and must be planned<\/strong>, realistically, depending on the space you have.<\/span><\/p>\n

The best way to make the most of the space you have is by establishing a tailor-made layout<\/strong>. Plan how you are going to structure it and be realistic with the space you have. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the larger terraces you can even create different areas: dining room, rest area, urban garden… although always highlighting one of them above the others<\/strong>, that is, the one to which we want to give greater prominence and around which the other areas will be structured.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 tips to get the most out of your terrace<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Pay attention to the furniture you choose:<\/strong> these are pieces of furniture that are going to spend a lot of time outdoors.
    \nBeing outside can be very hard and furniture can easily deteriorate.
    \nThink about materials that can withstand the weather conditions of your city: does it rain a lot?<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Opt for versatile furniture:<\/strong> comfortable furniture, that is stackable, removable or foldable.
    \nYou can also invest in furniture that you can then use indoors during the winter.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Take care of the accessories:<\/strong> a terrace has to be functional because if not, you won’t use it, but it can also be beautiful. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Pay attention to the decoration, take care of indirect lighting (use lanterns, candles or bulbs in garlands), textiles (rugs, cushions, tablecloths…) and even crockery. Every detail counts. <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Privacy<\/strong> is also an issue that worries many of our clients when the terraces are not high enough to guarantee some privacy. <\/span>
