{"id":5539,"date":"2017-07-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-05T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kaleidoscope.es\/blog\/lapis-blue-the-colour-of-summer\/"},"modified":"2025-02-18T09:14:28","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T09:14:28","slug":"lapis-blue-the-colour-of-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kaleidoscope.es\/en\/blog\/lapis-blue-the-colour-of-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"Lapis blue, the colour of summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Kaleidoscope, when we start any of our creative projects, one of the first things we do is look for inspiration, organize our ideas and establish what our starting point will be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are several techniques that help us in each creative process; however, one of our favorites is the creation of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>mood<\/strong> <strong><em>boards<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span><strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The literal translation of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mood board<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> could be something like &#8220;trend board&#8221;, but the word <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mood<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is also closely linked to the idea of &#8220;humor&#8221; or that mixture of emotions and sensations<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that awakens inside us when we see something.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mood boards<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> they can be digital or physical. They are collages that collect ideas or images around a specific topic. We use them daily in terms of architecture, decoration and interior design. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Sometimes it is difficult to convey ideas with words<\/strong> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mood boards<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> allow us to present concepts in a very simple and visual, creative and intuitive way, managing to generate emotions in those who contemplate it.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this reason, once a month, from Kaleidoscope we will share with you a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mood board<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> created around an idea, a concept, a colour&#8230; with the aim of being a source of inspiration for your projects and making you aware of the trends in the sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this case, and coinciding with the summer, <strong>we have created for you a board inspired by the Pantone color, Lapis Blue<\/strong>. One of the colors chosen by the brand for this season. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An intense, deep and energetic color. The color of the sea.
